Music for the wonked generation
Wednesday, August 12
Summer is in full swing, the sun isnt shinning, the clouds are there, the rain is being an absolute c*nt and showering us at every opportunity. All this creates a perfect environment for some serious wonkage.
Bass heavy tunes are occupying the majority of this thunder and tidy lil influences steaming in from all directions. Big shout to Toddla T and Diplo for bringing the reggae vibe in. Soo nice. Plastician's new remix of Salt Air by Chew Lips, got some summer to it. Perhaps it needs a lil bit more wonk?
Chew Lips - Salt Air (Plastician Remix)
L-Vis has been busy remixing the shit out of everything and creating some damn fine results. Notabley tracks from the artists that we at LTT salute frequently. In all fairness, not so keen on the Buraka remixs, but the dubstep remixes are too good. Where's My Money is fast and ferocious.
Benga & Coki - Night (L-Vis 1990)
Buraka Som Sistema - IC19 (L-Vis 1990)
Caspa - Wheres My Money (L-Vis 1990)
B.Rich or be fucking out the base bins. B.Rich's remix of TigerLilly is probably one of the best...er remixes of La Roux's tracks. If you havent got that, then grab da as well, but it's his track We Ball Harder that has got some class wonk.
La Roux - Tigerlily (B.Rich remix)
dEM reggae vibes we speak of are just here. Diplo has been busy with his new project ML as has mr. Jayou and dat Foamo rude bwoi. run riddim ... oh and a lil cheeky one from the TT fabric mix
Major Lazer - Pon da Floor (Edvard remix)
